Andi Grabemeyer

Andi Grabemeyer is an independent nonprofit consultant with expertise in community building, development, educational and employment program development and management, and strategic planning. Previously she worked for Habitat for Humanity, the Chicago Tech Academy, Chicago TechWorks, and Heartland Human Care Services which has given her extensive experience in implementing and assessing the effectiveness of economic security, human service and educational programs. 

She also worked as a district scheduler and caseworker at Congressman Fred Upton’s office in Michigan. She has also served as Communications Director for State Representative Al Pscholka in Michigan . She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and African Studies from Michigan State University and is currently on the verge of completing her Masters of Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management. Andi is also the Sargent at Arms for Chicago Near South Rotary and an accomplished percussionist.

She thoroughly believes that the work of helping individuals and families to become self-sufficient and successful in self-determined ways is critical to ending poverty and suffering. She believes in the ideals of humility, honesty, constantly stellar ethical conduct, respectfulness for participants and co-workers, responsiveness, and creating innovative flexible solutions to complex problems.
